F.2. COOPERATION AND COMMUNICATION

F.2. COOPERATION AND COMMUNICATION

Please explain how effective cooperation and communication between participating institutions will be organised.

The effective cooperation between the institutions will be ensured through ITC:

Blogs:
We are going to open two blogs: one for teachers and another for students. Actually, the blog “Building Europe from Roots” has already been created to promote the communication and the cooperation among the partners. This blog will be used not only by the teachers responsible for the project, but also by all the teachers involved in it.
The students will use their own blog to take part in the quiz: through the blog they will make their monthly question and also write their answers to the questions made by the other schools.
Furthermore, they will use this blog to pick up data from their partners and to upload data their mates could need.

Social nets:
We will encourage students to use the social nets in order to improve their English and to encourage the exchange of experiences among students from different European countries.
E-mail communication will be active during the whole project and will ensure that the partners can communicate immediately and effectively in order to overcome problems, if any turns up.

Project meetings:
During these meetings students and teachers will be able to plan the work, organise activities and evaluate how the project is going on. The possible difficulties and the problems will be discussed, while the examples of good practice will be emphasized.

  1. We are going to interchange ideas using ITC: internet, chats, blogs, emails, forums, etc.

every single decision relative to the project will be taken cooperating after a discussion

Moreover, the e-mail will be a good mean of communication, especially among teachers, to deal with more private matters.

  4. Add somewhere:
Mobilities will be a good opportunity to plan, organise, work, analyse, evaluate and reflect together about how is the project going on.
We perfectly know the value of the project that goes beyond simple exchange of documents and data. European projects help developping feelings of trust and appreciation among the partners which indirectly enriches them and provide an exchange of useful "best practices" that improves the teaching, socialisation, organization and management of each school.

  5. I suggest this points:

-students should work not only on theorical problems, but practical ones, for example by developping a survey or a research on common subjects.

    - they have to learn to work in team, at first in a school group and then with external groups communicating by ITC (I suggest to insist in ITC)

    - By learning from each other while working in a team and by travelling (mobilities):
-they have to overcome cultural barriers
-they have to learn to appreciate different cultures and skills
-they have to learn how to respect each other, how to respect common rules
-they have to share common personal experiences

  6. I agree with you. It'd be interesting to encourage students to exchange data with students from the different countries: for example, if you have to work on Roman Art, yours students could pick up from the other partners, because we can find examples of Roman Art all over the ancient world.
