We'd have to add the films we are going to make about the meetings, but I don't know when the meetings will take place
ReplyDeleteAfter "the score of the quiz" I would add the result of the researces, the survey, the questionnaires, etc.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, as you say, films, pictures, presentations...
Of, when are we meeting? and where?
As I wrote in another part (work programme, perhaps), the first meeting would be in Padrón in October or November. Look at G.2.
ReplyDeleteIn Italy we could meet in march-april 2011 or 2012. We probably will have nice weather and, of course, according to our subject a visit to Rome is inevitable. Rome is about 200 km from Pescara and it's quite easy to reach the capital.
ReplyDeletePaloma,
I think that after every single meeting we could publish something, maybe some days later...
Bruno,
ReplyDeleteAnd we could publish a kind of magazine (on line?) which includes our progress. We'd publish a summary a few days after every meeting. And you spoke about deadlines: all the partners should publish something at the end of each term in order to tell the other partners how the work makes progress.
Great idea!
ReplyDeleteI'll try to search a site which could help us.
I've found some useful services.
ReplyDeleteI think this one is the best:
http://www.calameo.com/
But we can use these too:
http://issuu.com/
Paloma, because of the Camino de Santiago maybe you are interested in this magazine : http://issuu.com/trekholidays/docs/peregrine-europe-10-11
another one is:
http://www.wobook.com/
We only have to
create our pages in word or a similar file
to convert them in a PDF file (very easy, there are many free software)
and then uoload it in one of these sites, then we will have a magazine online.
The only problem is that we can't save it as a magazine on our pc.
For now they are free, but next year...
I'll keep on looking for a free software!
How many outcomes are we going to put? I can't write this section because I need to know the estimated dates. So, if we are going to publish a magazine after each meeting, I need to know when the meetings will take place. And as for the films, it's the same.
ReplyDeleteThe results will be the powerpoint presentations, the score of the quiz, the films made by the students during the meetings and the magazines, won't be? Because the exhibitions about the countries involved in the project is not a result, isn't it?
I have a little problem to tell the difference between result and activity
Bruno, I should visit all these pages but now I have no time.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, Paloma, it's not necessary to visit those pages now.
ReplyDeletePlaoma, I think that expositions can be considered "results", because they are made after many activities like meetings, studies, discussions, collect datas, take pictures, record films.
Expositions are the "products" of all these activities
I will put some "results" after each meeting.
If you agree we can meet in Italy in April 2011 (if you want in april 2012)
Sorry:
ReplyDelete"I will put some 'results'"
is "I would put some 'results'"
About the dates of the project meetings:
ReplyDeleteIn Greece we could meet in spring. The months march-april 2011 or 2012 would be fine for us.
In D4, Results and Outcomes, I'd suggest an essay competition on the topic'Who we are".
ReplyDeleteEach country should write about their national identity, post the essay on the web page or blog for the other students to read and each country should make a quiz consisting of 10 -15 questions for the other students to solve. The questions should refer to the essay. The best essay - all the students involved in the project could vote- should receive a prize at the first project meeting. This could be our first outcome. What do you think? In this way we could discover what we have in common and what separates us.
What do you think of giving a simboic prize for the best video made by pupils, the best picture, the best text and so on...
ReplyDeleteThese could be results I think
simboic
ReplyDeletemeans symbolic
Good idea. This way we could learn something more about each other and motivate the students to their best and prepare something really interesting.
ReplyDeleteThe results are also the films, videos, power points, everything that is produced by the students in the course of the project.
ReplyDeleteI think we have to prepare something for each project meeting, present the material in the project meeting and then students should create something like a feed back, impressions from the project meeting, picture stories in which to show what they most liked and what they learned from that project meeting.
For start, the essay competition (result 1) could be a good idea and giving a prize is a way to encourage students to take part. I don't know what we could give as a prize, but perhaps something from the country that organises the first meeting, something from Spain, a book, a CD...
ReplyDeleteStudents could make a short film after each meeting and upload it on the net (result 2).
And we had spoken about a magazine on line.
The problem is we have to write something concrete. Are we going to do the same product (film/article) after every meeting? Perhaphs you know students who excel at painting or something like that.
The final results will be powerpoint presentations, but dou you have any concrete idea? For example, I had thought of drawing a map of the Roman roads in the participant countries. Should we put something more concrete than a porwerpoint presentation? I don't know, I am answering.
In a meeting hold in Bratislava in November I was told we shouldn't organise too many activities because it would seem unbelievable.
I don´t know how many products and how many activities we should include.
Paloma: "we shouldn't organise too many activities because it would seem unbelievable"
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, but if it would be OK if we organise activities for similar, but different products, for example photos, videos, powerpoint files, are more or less the same product,
and essays and surveys as a result of questionnairres are logical products. So we can do many activities to produce these products.
Prizes? books of photos and presentations of regions or countries on CDs or DVDs are perfect..
"Are we going to do the same product (film/article) after every meeting?"
I think so. It's easier and logical.
"The final results will be powerpoint presentations, but dou you have any concrete idea?"
Maybe a kind of map of major Latin influence on european Language and Latin best masterpieces
We, I mean my school, can create the web page of the project and host it on a dedicated server, and I hope the hosting will be free.
ReplyDeleteMaybe each of the partners could be responsible for a particular result, for eg.
Romania-designs and uploads materials on the web page of the project
Italy- blog of the project - just an idea
another partner could be responsible for the on line magazine.
As for the power points and what exactly to put in them we can discuss this in the first project meeting.
I don't know anything about TICs, I use my computer and internet and that's all. I thought opening a web page was very difficult. So I don't know if the web page can be used as a magazine on line and if we can open the blogs on that web page. Do you know it?
ReplyDeleteYesterday I wrote a proposal about outcomes and results but it is in the section "Important things to know". I don't know why I wrote it there. Go there and comment.
